VP Events of Westlake Village, Calif., keeps all the dramatic beauty of a traditional Indian wedding,
but adds a modern spin for a contemporary couple.

The sweetheart table
The sweetheart table, a traditional half round surrounded by ice
along with the couple's logo and a floral border.

Two ice bars sport the couple's monogram—along with working waterfalls!

Ice luge
Another ice element: an ice luge, which serves the wedding's signature martinis in aqua martini glasses.

Ice Curtain
And more ice …. The stage is backed by a curtain composed entirely of ice-cube strands. As the ice started to melt—about five hours into the event—a draping element housed above the truss dropped at the same time the special effects portion of the evening started. Not only did the drape hide the melting ice curtain, it also provided a backdrop for a video camera, one of five that ensured all guests could enjoy the event regardless of where they were seated.

Ice columns
Eight-, 6- and 4-foot ice columns accent the stage, each topped with a cascade of floral.
